At the 3rd International Conference on Food Bioactives & Health, in Parma, Italy, which took place from June 21 to 24, 2022, the IGZ was very successful: Three prizes were awarded! 

In the category “Carotenoids”, Maria Fitzner (Research Group QUALITY.1.1 Food chemistry and human nutrition) received the prize for the best poster. In the category “Glucosinolates & Other Organosulfur Compounds” Matthias Renz received the prize for the best poster and Dr. Franziska Hanschen the prize for the best oral presentation (both research group QUALITY.2 OPTIGLUP – Optimization of Glucosinolate Degradation Pathways).
