Apprenticeship and Teaching

In addition to their research, scientists at the IGZ give lectures, seminars and practical courses at many german universities and universities of applied sciences. Practical courses often take place at our institute. Thereby students get the chance to obtain insight into a huge variety of research fields in and related with horticulture. They learn how to solve scientific questions by the help of excellent technical equipment supported by experienced scientists.

Many of the practical courses take place on site at the institute - in the laboratories, on the outdoor areas and in the greenhouses. This gives the students the opportunity to gain insight into the wide variety of scientific topics in and around horticulture.

They learn to solve research questions with the help of excellent technical equipment and the support of motivated, highly qualified colleagues - scientists and technical staff.
