Long Night of the Sciences
Discover the "Agricultural Systems of the Future"
17.06.2023 | Leibniz-Gemeinschaft Chausseestraße 111, 10115 Berlin · 17:00 - 00:00 Uhr
Novel foods from jellyfish and insects, digitally networked cows and augmented reality in the field - these are some of the innovative approaches of the "agricultural systems of the future". With completely new approaches, scientists are researching for sustainable modern agriculture.
During the Long Night of Science, we will present the "Agricultural Systems of the Future" funding line of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, which is coordinated at the IGZ. In eight projects, scientists across Germany are researching new approaches to sustainable agriculture: from novel foods such as jellyfish and insects to digitally networked cows and augmented reality in the field. Learn more at the interactive multi-touch table and at the lecture "Of smart tractors and biorooms in the city - a journey into the agriculture of the future".
