Press Invitation: 100 Years of Research at the Großbeeren Site – IGZ Marks the Anniversary with a Ceremony and an Open Day

A century of research for horticulture: Scientific work has been carried out at the Großbeeren site since 1925 – today, the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ) combines this tradition with cutting-edge research. To mark the anniversary, a ceremonial event with guests from politics, science and practice will take place on 2 October 2025, followed by an Open Day for the general public on 27 September 2025.
