After five years, the research project ‘Healthy soils – healthy plants – healthy food’ came to an end on 26 June 2025 with a closing event at the Leibniz Institute for Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ) in Großbeeren. The project, initiated by the IGZ in collaboration with Kaufland Stiftung & Co. KG and Gemüsering Stuttgart GmbH, aimed to develop scientifically sound measures to promote soil fertility in fruit and vegetable cultivation and to implement them in practice together with farmers.
