The comprehensive data collection Düngung im Freilandgemüsebau“ (Fertilisation in Field Vegetable Production) is now available in an updated edition from Erling Verlag. First published in 2011 as part of the publication series by the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ), the volume had gone out of print. New trial results and current findings on nutrient content and the nutrient requirements of vegetables made a revised edition necessary.

In addition to updated content, the book has been expanded to include new chapter, particularly data relating to the cultivation of various herbs. The authors, including Dr Carmen Feller (IGZ), focus on providing practice-oriented information for experienced farm managers and advisors. The aim is not to teach the fundamentals of fertilisation strategies, but rather to offer a data resource that supports location- and yield-specific fertilisation. This approach helps to prevent nutrient losses to the environment and ensures both qualitative and quantitative crop performance.

The new edition is available via Erling Verlag.
